Considering a Career in Leisure?

If you want to work in a safe, enjoyable and rewarding environment, meeting new people and working as part of a team to help customers and ensuring the wellbeing of others, you could work in a leisure facility or health club as a lifeguard or pool emergency responder.

The CIMSPA-endorsed Pool Lifeguarding qualification aligns lifeguard and First Aid at Work revalidations for the first time in the industry on a 3-year process. Developed with the latest industry research, the qualification is designed to train learners in all aspects of pool rescue, CPR techniques, first aid, dealing with poolside emergencies, and all other skills needed for the role of a modern lifeguard.

Course pre-requisites, availability and booking

To book a course:

1. You'll need to meet the pre-requisites before attending your course.

2. Please create a Training Course Attendee account to book your course place.

3. Once you have your account, please search for 'pool lifeguarding' in our course search portal for course availability and booking, including price, dates and location. 

The full course cost is £245 and full payment is required at the time of booking.
