To help keep the atmosphere positive and create a safe and respectful environment for all members, we politely request the following:

No under 16's allowed in the Sauna and Steam.

All users must read and understand the Health Commitment Statement.

All users must keep their Leisure Card with them at all times.

Cards must not be given to anyone else to use.

Teignbridge Leisure operates a zero tolerance policy for foul and abusive language towards staff, customers and visitors.

Always drink plenty of water during and after use to replace the fluids lost during perspiration.

Before use, remove any metal items such as watches or jewellery as they can become hot.

Ensure you shower before using the Sauna and Steam to remove sweat, creams, oils or deodorants and moisten the skin.

For hygiene reasons, wear appropriate swimwear at all times.

When the heat becomes too uncomfortable, leave the Sauna and Steam and cool down, either by sitting in a space outside the rooms or by taking a cool shower.

Please use a towel in the Sauna.

No unauthorised person should adjust the room controls.

Breakable containers must not be taken into the Sauna and Steam rooms.

Ensure the doors are closed when entering the exiting the Sauna and Steam.

Do not use scented oils or put them on the coals or steam room machine.

Lockers are located in the changing areas for your belongings.

A token can be purchased at Reception.

Please keep this area free of belongings and use the pegs for hanging your towel.

Do not shave in the Sauna and Steam or shower area.

Smoking, E-cigarettes or being under the influence of alcohol or drugs is not permitted.

No food is to be consumed.

Report any faults to a member of staff and do not use.
-
No shoes or outdoor footwear in this area.
-
Respect each other's space, do not stare or act to make others feel uncomfortable.
