From an office to a building site, qualified first aiders are needed in every workplace. Becoming a first aider is a great responsibility, and the qualification not only looks great on a CV, but is also a legal requirement for various job roles.
Whether you’re being appointed as the designated first aider in the workplace, or working within a childcare setting, there is a first aid qualification to suit your needs.

Once You’re Qualified
First aid courses are a fantastic stepping stone for other careers, such as nursing, emergency medical services and childcare.
STA also offer several resources and CPDs to keep you up-to-date with changes in first aid, including annual refresher training.
It’s also important to remember your expiry date, as you will have to renew or retake your qualification before it runs out to ensure that you remain a qualified first aider. Teignbridge Leisure will send you a reminder email when it is time for you to renew.
